Filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker’s film is in news for over a month for the casting. The buzz had it that Aishwarya was approached to play the female lead, but the lady denied any such reports. Then, it was Asin who was zeroed in to star opposite Abhishek Bachchan but she easily opted out.

Now we hear that Sonam too had turned down to be the female lead in Gowariker’s period movie ‘Khelen Hum Jee Jaan Se’ that now has Abhishek and Deepika Padukone in lead roles. Reportedly, Sonam was skeptical of pairing again with Abhishek as their last movie, Delhi-6, was a dud.

Also, Gowariker’s last movie ‘What’s Your Rashee?’ also failed to create any impact at the box-office. So, the Kapoor girl acted smart to cite date problems and steer clear of any more flops.

Bachchan Jr and hot property Deepika Padukone will start shooting for the movie ‘Khele Hum Jee Jaan Se’ from November 9.

Let’s wait to see if the movie shapes up to be a sure shot hit! If it does, we know who all will repent not being a part of the movie.
