Is Breast Best Cherry Healey Investigates  Synopsis Last year, Cherry Healey made a personal documentary about her experience of childbirth, Cherry Has a Baby. Now she is tackling breastfeeding. Her own experiences, admits the 30-year-old presenter and mother, were painful and traumatic but she still feels guilty that she didn’t persevere, particularly as it is recommended by the World Health Organisation. Healey begins her brave and candid film by talking to teenage mothers and goes on to canvass the opinions of pro-bottle advocates, “lactivists” (who believe that breastfeeding is the only acceptable way to go), doctors and paediatricians. One of the teenage mothers Healey meets is Emma, who is 19 years old. For the purposes of the programme, Emma is filmed throughout the night, showing how often she has to get out of bed to feed her baby, and how difficult it is: she clearly wants to do only the best for her baby, but she's exhausted and emotional. For BBC Three's young audience, this footage should prove a useful lesson in just how hard it is to bring up a baby. Screen Shots      Hit Thanks If You Like My Post
