Ingredients:
Sardine - ½ kilo Tomato - 2 Onion - 1 Green Chili - 3 Red Chili Powder - 1 tsp Turmeric Powder - ½ tsp Coriander Powder - 1 tsp Ginger - 1 piece Garlic - 8 Vinegar - 1 dessertspoon Salt - As required Coconut Milk - ½ cup Procedure: Cut and clean mathi (score on both sides). In a pan, heat oil. Add sliced onion, green chilli, ginger, garlic and sauté well. To this add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, salt, vinegar and tomato slices. Saute well till tomatoes are done. Add water as required and mathi pieces and cook until done. When the gravy becomes thick, add coconut milk and stir. |
