khuli jo aankh tou woh tha na woh zamana tha
dahakti aag thi tanhaai thi fasana tha
ghamon ne baant liya mujhe yoon aapas mein
ke jaise main koi loota hua khazana tha
yeh kya chand hi kadmon par hi thi manzil ke baith gaye
tumhe tou saath mera door tak nibhana tha
mujhe jo mere lahoon mein dubo ke guzra hai
woh koi gair nahi yaar ek purana tha
khud apne haath se usko kat diya
ke jis darakht ke tehnii pe mera aashiyaana tha.
